While putting up shutters on the house we were able to get a birds-eye view of a mourning dove in the tree by the front door. She has a little baby under her.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 our lives were changed forever when my wife of 22 years, and mother of 3, lost her battle with breast cancer. I kept a detailed blog about her and our family for several years. I urge you to read about her at my other blog. Now that I am a single-parent with 3 children my blogging is more targeted towards our lives and the day-to-day challenges that we all must go through. For that reason, I've created this blog as a way for everyone to stay updated.

After 3 years of a fierce battle with breast cancer Christine lost her life to this dreaded disease at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2007.
