Wednesday night my friend Greg took me to a concert in Baltimore. We went and saw Journey with opening band Night Ranger. Both were excellent. The tickets and hospitality helped clear my mind some from the week at hand.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 our lives were changed forever when my wife of 22 years, and mother of 3, lost her battle with breast cancer. I kept a detailed blog about her and our family for several years. I urge you to read about her at my other blog. Now that I am a single-parent with 3 children my blogging is more targeted towards our lives and the day-to-day challenges that we all must go through. For that reason, I've created this blog as a way for everyone to stay updated.

After 3 years of a fierce battle with breast cancer Christine lost her life to this dreaded disease at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2007.
